Breakfast Event - Engaging and Retaining Young Professionals

Complimentary Breakfast Event

How well do you understand your young employees? In a couple of weeks on Wednesday, 6th April, I'm facilitating an interactive session exploring the findings from the 2011 Emerging Leaders survey completed by over 200 young professionals.  You can read the full report at www.aliciacurtis.com/freereport.html

Share what works and what doesn't when engaging and retaining Generation Y employees and discover how you can maximise the value of the young professionals in your workplace.
Join us for breakfast at 7am (order your own at Botanicals Cafe in Kings Park) and the workshop starts at 7.20.  This complimentary session is open to both HR professionals and/or Managers of young employees.  We will finish at 8.20am.

Register here as places are limited.

New Workplace Workshop for Young Professionals

I am also launching a new half day leadership workshop for young professionals focusing on three common leadership challenges they face in the workplace:

1. Building Credibility -  develop trust and rapport with colleagues and clients and protect your reputation.

2. Mentors and Networking - map your networks of influence and develop your mentor strategy.

3. Engaging Leadership - understand how to inspire and motivate others and build a strong team.

Book this workshop by the end of March, and each of your participants will receive the Planning Toolkit, an interactive resource to develop your personal strategy (valued at $27.50 each).   You can check out the Toolkit here.

This workshop is highly interactive and therefore the ideal participant numbers is between 15 and 25.  All my presentations include excellent visuals, motivating music and activities to keep participants engaged and learning.   This workshop is based on a wide range of research including academic literature as well as my own two Emerging Leaders Reports. I will also encourage participants to join my own emerging leaders online community, Emergen to stay in touch after the workshop.

Please feel free to share these opportunities with any colleagues who you think may benefit.  I hope to see you at the breakfast and look forward to working with your young professionals.
